Analytics Specialist – Kiplinger Washington Editors is looking for a smart, focused person with a passion for data mining and analysis to steer a new course for our company in the area of audience development and customer fulfillment.

This would be an online business development position, including a strong collaboration with the Web Development and marketing teams. Ideal candidate would be proficient with Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, and other digital audience-tracking analytical software, and also be an Excel/Powerpoint power user who can turn large amounts of data into easily digestible reports.

--identify important trends that the company can leverage for extra revenue.
--Develop detailed chart site paths in Adobe Omniture, gleaning how our most frequent visitors navigate and use our site versus those who visit once or twice a year.
--Discern differences and similarities in how different audience segments use and other digital products.
--identify customer needs for creation of new products and services.

Proficiency using Adobe Omniture and Google, including:
•Building custom reports
•Identifying data that could be collected by page code and then integrated into useful custom reports
•Ability to manipulate available data to identify trends and patterns that will assist in making businesss decisions.
