Brooklyn Law School seeks a Junior Graphics/Production Designer to join our External Affairs department. As part of our team, the designer will handle the conception, design, and execution of visual materials for integrated marketing, communications, and alumni relations initiatives. Translating Law School objectives into compelling media, the individual will design, produce, and collaborate on a wide range of print collateral, email marketing, and web design – all with an eye on promoting awareness of Law School programs and initiatives.

The Junior Graphics/Production Designer will work closely with the Director of Communications to help deliver on all creative needs for Brooklyn Law School. The ideal candidate is an imaginative, dependable, resourceful, and savvy designer who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Create strong visual solutions to support Law School programs, events, and campaigns, both internal and external
•Ensure that all photos, graphics, logos, and templates are designed to Law School standards
•Coordinate with photographers, freelance graphic designers, printers, and videographers
•Oversee all photography, video, art direction, and related needs

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in design-related field
•1-3 years of professional design experience working with multiple clients; higher ed experience would be helpful, but not mandatory
•Exceptional portfolio displaying communication design, brand identity, typography, and web interaction principles
•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
•Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3; experience with Sitecore CMS or SharePoint a plus
•Ability to work well collaboratively and under pressure, with multiple tight deadlines
