Redscout is looking for an Associate Strategist. In this position you will have opportunities to work with a variety of clients and categories, both independently and as a team member. Key responsibilities within this role are outlined below: STRATEGY & INNOVATION • Identifying key areas of learning and developing a strong point-of-view around what really matters while elevating thinking to a more inspiring place, staying true to the brand DNA, and positioning the brand for growth and success• Expressing creativity and inspiration to build sections of strategic presentations and concepts, including but not limited to product concepts, idea statements, benefits, claims, and RTBs • Assisting with holistic storytelling, as well as, conceptualizing presentations • Creatively expressing strategic principles for brands, including but not limited to brand architecture models, brand guardrails, novellas/dreamscapes (written concepts or video concepts), or platforms/briefs • Assisting in developing and building innovation strategy, including but not limited to identifying the role of innovation, aligning to marketing strategy, or identifying guardrails • Writing product or service concepts that bring the innovation strategy to life • Proactively assisting in the creation of innovation platforms or frameworks that lead to product concepts • Assists with envisioning, inspiring, and facilitating client work sessions and meetings RESEARCH • Engaging in desk research and preparing briefing materials • Executing qualitative research methodologies; screening, recruiting, logistics/field management and participation; moderation and participation • Synthesizing learning from all primary and secondary research and draft discussion guides • Facilitating and participating in 1-on-1 interviews, focus groups, shop-alongs, ideations and brainstorming sessions CLIENT RELATIONS & PROJECT MANAGEMENT • Presenting sections at client meetings with bold thinking that shows discretion in knowing when and how far to take the conversation • Collaborating with internal teams to facilitate ongoing project management, including but not limited to managing project timeline and building relationships with clients through weekly status reports,correspondence, and meetings • Assisting with business development by prospecting and researching clients or other intelligence, as necessary • Establishing rewarding, collaborative relationships with client peers both within and outside of projects by displaying excellent written and verbal communication skills With all positions at Redscout, job descriptions are dynamic and the expectations provide a means to measure success.
