The Marketing Manager will:
•Have demonstrated experience in working on health and wellness titles, especially in the areas of food and fitness
•Generate content and oversee multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest for all Lifelong Book titles
•Maintain and update on a weekly basis the Lifelong Books cookbook website
•Work in tandem with the Sales department and Marketing Director to produce sell sheets, brochures, and e-postcards for Lifelong Book
•Have an active role in helping to develop our social media strategy on key titles
•Attend weekly production meetings and provide status report to the Marketing Director
•Produce PowerPoint presentations for twice annual sales conferences along with ancillary materials
•Manage and coordinate annual ACOG exhibit, featuring the Your Pregnancy™ series and other related pregnancy titles
•Prepare, in consultation with the Marketing Director, marketing plan summaries for Editors
•Represent Da Capo/Lifelong Books at regional book conventions, annual library association meetings, and BEA
•Work directly with authors to help enhance their online presence prior to
•Oversee and manage submission of, both Da Capo and Lifelong Book titles for Net Galley
•Attend internship fairs and help to select and supervise interns in conjunction with the Senior Marketing manager

Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of book marketing experience with demonstrated skills in both traditional and digital marketing. Candidates must be willing to work in a team setting and demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity in carrying out both imprint level and book-specific projects. Other requirements include: proficiency in Word, Excel, InDesign, and Powerpoint. Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task are essential. Salary commensurate with experience.
