This position requires a strong expertise and knowledge of custom research for both print and digital.

The Primary Research Associate will be a key member of the Bonnier Custom Insights team within the Bonnier Corporate Research department.


Take ownership of implementation and data analysis of the Best Companies research initiatives for Working Mother Media and the National Association for Female Executives.
Program, test and maintain multiple large-scale surveys on an annual basis.
Collaborate with team to gather and analyze all necessary data requests, and interpret findings.
Develop custom benchmarking assessments and presentations to help clients understand results across hundreds of data points and identify best practices to be applied in their own businesses.
Organize research for editorial features and prepare executive summaries and presentations for conferences. Provide Sales/Marketing and Editorial teams with strategic, creative, marketing research analysis.
Work directly with survey software vendor to troubleshoot software problems and evolve the research tools.
Collaborate and brainstorm with Bonnier brands to develop new strategic research products.
Partner with Bonnier Custom Insights team on other custom research initiatives.
Report to the Director of Research Initiatives, but will be the direct contact between Bonnier Corporate Research and Working Mother Media.


At least 3 years of successful primary research experience.
Trained and familiar with custom research survey software. Experience with Allegiance Inquisite and Qualtrics research products a plus.
Bachelors degree.
Able to collaborate in a team environment, while taking ownership and lead on major projects.
Extremely organized and passionate about details.
Strategic thinker.
Strong written communication and excellent story-telling skills.
