The Supervising Producer at Teen Nick is responsible for working with the Creative Director to keep the on-air department running smoothly while maintaining the highest quality of creative. This individual will be required to oversee a team of amazing writer/producers creating effective, strategic on-air promotional campaigns for show launches, stunts, and brand image. He or she will review and give feedback on the team’s work right until the moment it is released to the Creative Director and other executives. The Supervising Producer must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, passionate about promos, and extremely creative. He or she oversees the department to make sure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on message. We are looking for a candidate with a unique and recognizable style compatible with Teen Nick sensibilities and objectives. Familiarity and comfort with our brand (both on-air and online) is essential.

Responsibilities:
• Work directly with Creative Director to assure highest quality creative while staying true to our brand.
• Assign projects to producers and vendors
• Lead, oversee and collaborate with producers (staff, freelance and/or outside vendors) to create fresh and unique perspectives for projects.
• Give comprehensive notes and feedback on all rough cuts
• Coordinate with our Digital team and Media Planning to ensure a cohesive promotional strategy both on-air, online and across social media.
• Collaborate with Project & Production Management to ensure assigned projects are produced on time and within budget constraints.
• Support and guide direct reports to help achieve their goals.
• Build relationships across departments

Basic qualifications:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• At least 9 years writing and producing promos for a network or agency
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent communication, conceptual and organization skills. Comedy-writing a plus.
• Self-motivated to work independently or as a member of a creative team.
• Passion for short-form and promotional work
• Shooting and other production skills a plus
• Deep understanding of social media

• A passion for social media and understanding of all social platforms
