The Online Membership Associate works with The Heritage Foundation’s online fundraising team to develop and execute innovative strategies to drive revenue from and build relationships with Heritage Action supporters and Heritage Foundation members. Using tools like e-mail, search marketing, online advertising, social media, radio advertising, and other non-traditional media, the Associate is responsible for preparing campaign creative, executing online fundraising initiatives, and conducting appropriate follow-up. The Associate also uses data and robust testing to build strong digital relationships with Heritage and Action supporters through e-mail and other tools.

Job Duties:

Coordinate the creation and execution of online fundraising campaigns for Heritage Action for America, in collaboration with other direct marketing.

Oversee online relationship-building with Heritage and Heritage Action supporters, including e-mail newsletters, event invitations, and other messaging.

Draft and edit copy used in online solicitations, including e-mails, landing pages, social media promotion and follow-up messaging for Heritage Action and members of Heritage’s President’s Club.

Use data to consistently revise and improve the online program and identify new opportunities for growth, with the goal of maximizing revenue and building relationships with our supporters.

Oversee online correspondence with Heritage members.

2-3 years in direct marketing (online or offline) or related fields, particularly as a writer. Knowledge of direct marketing techniques, data analysis and statistics, online technology, current events, and conservative thought is essential.
