Manhattan’s #1 boutique brokerage, CORE seeks a Public Relations Manager to create and manage publicity opportunities for the firm, its agents and their luxury listings.Who you are:An enterprising, heavily networked PR expert with 5 to 7 years in-house and/or agency experience. Professional and polished, CORE’s Public Relations Manager will develop and direct publicity programs and campaigns, strategize and pitch short-and-long-lead stories, manage all corporate communications, oversee social media channels, plan events and forge new brand partnerships. The ideal candidate is a “pitch machine” who thinks creatively, strategically and beyond real estate. Core competencies must include excellent communications skills, a results-focused approach and the ability to craft compelling press stories. Working closely with the Marketing Department, CORE’s Public Relations Manager will have the opportunity to build his/her career in a dynamic, fast-paced and innovative environment. Real estate expertise not required. Luxury goods experience a plus. Specifically, the role includes the following key duties and responsibilities:•Public relations: Create, pitch and place compelling stories in both industry and consumer-facing media channels. Innovate new and different ways to extend the CORE brand beyond the traditional real estate press outlets. Develop and manage corporate and agent PR calendars. •Digital publicity: Create, pitch and place engaging content in online magazines, blogger sites and other digital outlets. Recommend and implement creative digital PR strategies that engage and disrupt online. •Media plans: Develop PR strategies, campaigns and initiatives that heighten CORE’s industry profile and break new ground for real estate. Work with CORE agents to develop holistic, individualized PR plans specific to their brand.•Corporate communications: Write press releases, manage website PR content, oversee company blog, develop weekly e-newsletter content and manage its distribution. Monitor consistency of CORE’s distinct brand voice across all industry and consumer-facing corporate communications. •Social media: Develop and manage digital content, serving as community manager for CORE’s social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube. •Events: Oversee planning and tactical execution of corporate and agent events. Garner press before, during and after events, optimizing exposure of the brand, its agents and their listings. •Brand partnerships: Help to identify, forge and manage strategic brand partnerships within real estate, design, architecture, fashion and other luxury goods industries. Identify and recruit brand Influencers and structure creative ways to partner.•Relationship management: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills by forging new, and maintaining existing, editorial relationships. Attend industry and non-industry events as CORE’s brand ambassador to network and cultivate new media contacts.
