Kensington Publishing Corp, the foremost independent commercial publishing house in the United States, is seeking a Director of Sales to lead domestic, international and special markets for all published and distributed book lines.

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and monitor sales budgets leading sales teams to achieve annual goals.
Lead sales teams to establish regular business reviews with executives at key accounts.
Work directly with the marketing department to coordinate selling/marketing strategies to implement account specific sales plans.
Track and analyze sales patterns.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least 10 years of sales management experience and will to travel.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must excel in managing details of projects all the way through.
Must be able to take the initiative to develop sales strategies, set and implement goals.
Creative thinker, with strong analytical and leadership skills.
Strong industry relationships.
