Your tasks
The Random House Children's Production Group is looking for a part-time Archivist to join the team. The position is responsible for checking and staging final digital files to the corporate archive for approximately 1,200 titles per year. Job responsibilities include maintaining a master spreadsheet for tracking status of files due into the archive for each year; creating and delivering weekly reports to production staff with due dates for files; assembling files into proper folder structure, correcting file names, and verifying completeness of files before staging to corporate archive; monitoring "kick-back" folder from corporate archive and fixing issues with files; and providing general archive support to production staff and other departments as necessary.

Candidates should be available ~21 hours a week.


Our requirements
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is proficient with Excel, Filemaker Pro, InDesign, and QuarkXpress
