POSITION SUMMARYHigh Times is hiring a full-time Advertising Assistant to support the Director of Advertising and New Business. This person will be responsible for handling a wide range of general administration tasks including but not limited to: scheduling meetings, answering phone calls, managing advertising database reports, booking travel and maintaining an organized desk. The assistant will also serve as a conduit between advertising, events, production, finance and other departments by acting as a resource for and maintaining the flow of information between various departments within High Times. An effective addition to the advertising team will:• Utilize a combination of listening, communication, creative problem solving, and organizational skills to thoroughly understand and support the job functions of the Director of Advertising and New Business. • Continually demonstrate ownership for delivering quality work to internal and external clients. • Model behaviors of professionalism, trust, respect, and accountability when working with others and build a diverse network of internal and external relationships. The ideal candidate approaches their duties with a proactive and collaborative mind-set, responding quickly to requests and always willing to help colleagues.
