Art + Commerce New York is seeking a Junior Webmaster to manage all Art + Commerce endeavors on the web and in the digital space.

Responsibilities will include: Being a liaison between A+C and our hosted CMS system, managing communication of changes and bugs on the front and backend systems. Developing digital marketing solutions within the CMS, as well as other digital marketing channels. Candidates must be at ease in a demanding, fast paced, creative environment. Candidates must have at least 3+ years of web and or account management experience. This position requires an individual who is interested in assessing and solving complex challenges in a creative manner. Applicants must be detail-oriented, proactive team players.

Daily Responsibilities:
• Oversee ongoing digital projects (digital marketing, micro sites etc.)
• Monitoring analytics on websites to optimize performance
• Manage social media initiatives
• Administrating www.artandcommerce.com via our CMS
• Organizing, communicating bugs or changes to outside developers
• Supporting various departments of the company with website matters
• Resolving any technical issues involving the website on timely basis
• Problem solving

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of online experience
• Proven ability to assess and solve complex problems in a creative manner
• Demonstrated ability to manage, communicate, negotiate and manage outside developers
• Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex design and technical challenges
• Knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
• Knowledge of JavaScript and libraries such as jQuery
• Fluent in Adobe Creative suite
• Experience manipulating and making changes to long data lists, XML data or CSV
• Organized and detail-oriented; problem-solver above all
• Ability to scope projects and stay within established scope and timelines
• Strong sense of ownership of process and results
• Experience using After Effects and FinalCut Pro and some understanding of video compression is a plus
