Online Advertising Sales Representative
Meet or exceed sales goals in assigned publications by promoting and selling online and print advertising through professional sales techniques, product knowledge and long-term customer/client relationships.•Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets•Make the appropriate number of sales calls on new prospects vs customers to grow ad revenues•Prepare verbal and written advertising presentations outlining features and explaining the benefits of advertising in our online journals•Create advertising proposals and maintain customer profiles in Salesforce•Sell print and online advertising in all assigned publications, but concentrate on online advertising sales•Assist in development of sales tools and promotional materials •Generate print and electronic sales letters and written follow-up by email•Work with and coordinate sale activities with Marketing & Sales team and Publisher’s Office•Attend and participate in sales meetings, sales training and trade shows, as necessaryBachelor’s degree required with a concentration in Business preferred. Three to five years experience selling online advertising for journals or magazines with demonstrated success. Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, highly organized and self-motivated, committed to growth and achievement. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
