RealClearPolitics is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual in Washington DC to join its advertising sales team as a Regional Account Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

•Develop media plan recommendations for clients and agencies
•Identify sales prospects to generate new business; manage ongoing relationships with clients and agencies
• Update progress with advertisers daily and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue projections

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:

• 2-4 years experience in digital media sales and online advertising
• live in the Washington DC area
• Experience selling to advocacy organizations, agencies and Fortune 500 companies
• Proven record of success closing sales/business development deals
• Strong network of strategic level relationships at advocacy organizations, digital advertising agencies and corporations
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills
• Experience developing account strategies for long term revenue growth
• Proven account management ability and desire to interface with clients both remotely and face to face to provide timely, consistent and accurate support
• Self-starter with the ability to execute quickly and efficiently
• Willingness and ability to travel
• Goal driven, hard-working, positive attitude, strong work ethic
• Creativity, persistence and tenacity
• Bachelor's degree
