SAVEUR Magazine is seeking to fill the position of a Junior Account Manager whose responsibilities would include, but not be limited to growing revenue for SAVEUR’s Market Section and Direct Response business, through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions.

The Junior Account Manager will be required to learn and understand SAVEUR's print, digital and event products and have consultative selling skills to close business and develop relationships. We are looking for an organized, self-starter with the ability to work independently to manage our market section on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities include:
• Driving revenue and consistently breaking new business
• Working with artisanal brands to provide promotional opportunities and solutions
• Identifying and helping to develop strategies to grow their business
• Effectively prospect, maintain an opportunity pipeline, and forecasting revenue
• Be a collaborative and enthusiastic member of the SAVEUR team

Minimum 2 years of experience in a magazine or website publishing environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Desired Characteristics
Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
Passion for food and travel
Demonstrated skill with Excel, PowerPoint , MediaRadar and Salesforce preferred
The desire to learn in a positive sales environment
Exceptional communication skills - creation and delivery
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet aggressive deadlines, and execute on agreed upon sales metrics
