The Role:

In this high-impact role, you’ll report to the Vice President, Operations of The Huffington Post Media Group. You will use your well-honed business, operational and technical acumen to build, lead and shape a dedicated Huffington Post Sales Ops team via direct engagement with sales teams and by improving our sales operations infrastructure to ensure that we achieve our aggressive growth goals.

This role is all about significant, strategic programs delivering business outcomes. You must be experienced at analyzing opportunities, issues, leveraging data & strong analytical prowess to deliver practical, effective solutions. Examples include buyer driven sales processes, sales methodologies, territory design, goal planning, productivity improvements and key account programs. You will also be very effective managing cross-functional teams, working with a large stakeholder groups, working directly with our leadership and our sales teams. This person will get things done!

?Responsibilities:
•Build dedicated Sales Ops team for Huffpost, serving HuffPost Sales team: this includes but is not limited to
oHire, deploy and train team
oWork with Huffpost Sales team and AOL Sales Ops team to define Sales Ops service levels
oBuild tools, processes, and reporting cadence to HuffPost Sales
•Lead priority initiatives including sales productivity, alignment, market opportunity capture, eliminate friction and ad hoc initiatives
•Able to influence & negotiate up and across the organization without formal authority
•Participate in annual planning, leverage data & KPI’s to measure outcomes, deliver presentations to sales audiences

Qualifications:

You are:
•A proven, analytical problem solver with a passion for operations and a desire to drive change
•Motivated by the opportunities of a fast growing industry in transition
•Service-oriented, able to build relationships, work with people from diverse backgrounds, and make compromises
•Able to influence cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Technology, Edit) without formal authority
•Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities meeting deadlines

Required experience and knowledge:

•Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
•5-10 years experience in management consulting, sales strategy/ops or similar experience
•Experience working in the digital media or online advertising industry is preferred
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Track record of high performance and results oriented
•Strong analytical skills and able to synthesize information
•Experience in projects in a combination of online media, strategy consulting, process re-engineering or sales operations
