Responsible for sales and marketing for complete product portfolio, helps establish revenue goals for individual product lines, sets sales and marketing strategy to successfully achieve those goals, new product development, manages and trains staff to achieve goals and build expertise in their categories, develops sponsorship opportunities for integrated products and works individually with sales representatives to close those sales, acts as sales leader and assists sellers with account development and closing, manages a select list of iconic accounts, directs marketing in development of communication tools, events and other brand activity. This position regularly updates Publisher on the industry and makes recommendations for brand involvement in industry events. Involved in key industry organizations and attends key industry events across all categories.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Generate revenue and manage sales team
•Work with Marketing Department to create new revenue opportunities for the Sales Department
•Develop relationships in the business community to explore new revenue opportunities
•Work with the Director of Digital Sales and Marketing to create integrated programs
•Attend networking events to build and maintain relationships
•Initiate and develop programs and sponsorship packages for current clients and new prospects
•Generate ideas for new initiatives and new categories of business
•Attend sales calls for new opportunities, sponsorship sales, key accounts and sales development
•Analyze key accounts and categories to determine strategic direction and identify new revenue opportunities
•Provide a top line status to Publisher on weekly basis
•Work with Corporate Controller on team budgets

•8-10 + years sales and marketing experience
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to work in a team environment and interact with marketing and creative disciplines
•Must have ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively with several divisions such as sales, digital, broadcast, marketing, as well as edit
•Strong motivator with proven experience managing staff
