Under the direction of the Sales Director and as part of the Library Sales group, this individual will exercise a high degree of initiative and independent decision making while participating in the following activities:
-Maintain high level customer contact on phone and or by email
-Develop Sales opportunities and follow up on sales leads
-Manage daily maintenance, IP updates, Access Problems, Invoicing Related Issues
-Usage Analysis both re-actively and pro-actively to customers
-Generate and Manage License Procedure for all Products
-Manage renewal business within selected territory
-Prospecting leads for Licensing/Account Managers
-Developing strategic relationships with internal resources
-Developing a network of contacts
-Working on contract proposals to existing customers and new clients
-Work on small account renewals and will coordinate with Licensing Managers responsible for the territory
-Prospect for new accounts to grow the pipeline and coordinate with the appropriate Licensing Manager
-Make a minimum of 30 calls a week
-Go on 2-5 office visits with new prospects with the appropriate Licensing Manager per month
-Other duties as required by manager
-Bachelor-s degree with minimum 3 years prior experience; preferably work in the corporate sector
-Strong understanding and previous experience in the STM market and knowledge of journal and multi-site licensing
-Strong computer skills in databases, MS Word, Excel and Power Point a must
- Must be well organized, highly motivated, flexible and able to work independently
-Detail oriented and highly organized
-Ability to work with numerous individuals on a daily basis to sort issues, discuss clients, find solutions and make sales
-Excellent project management skills
-Demonstrate initiative and follow-up skills
-Understanding on how to maintain and build lasting corporate and internal relationships
-Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required
-Confident and polished presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
