We are seeking a Social Influence Supervisor to join our Los Angeles social media team. The SI Supervisor will be a seasoned account management and communications professional with 4-6 years of experience working with or inside auto and lifestyle brands. This role will serve as a key day-to-day strategic, program, and media relations manager with a demonstrable track record in influencer communications, consumer media relations/PR and social media engagement programs. Primary responsibilities will include ownership of our client's lifestyle earned media/influencer program, as well as overall account management support.This role will be unique to many others within the agency, offering the candidate an opportunity to have feet in both our account service and social influence teams. The ideal candidate will have strong account management, public relations and social media skills, along with big brand experience. As a Supervisor, you must demonstrate the ability to take a stand and deliver your POV and to shape creative. You must possess talent for managing multiple, simultaneous projects fluidly and help to manage the team in their completion of tasks. You will also initiate strategic opportunities, develop recommendations and sell ideas into internal departments.We are looking for a creative thinker who has solid digital PR skills and a contemporary communications perspective. Key qualifications include:
  • Understanding and passion for the social web, emerging technology, and digital communication.
  • A good eye for visuals and creative quality. You know a good photo when you see one, and respect/admire the art of high quality brand content
  • Love for storytelling through words, pictures, numbers, PowerPoint, Photoshop props, puppets... The tools matter less to you; you just love constructing and telling a real story.
  • Strategic, critical thinker with great ideas for how brands can further marketing objectives through social. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Act as a team leader and a motivator, but not be above the "housekeeping" work when the time calls for it.
  • Thinking strategically and delivering ideas.
