Objective:


The purpose of this role is to be the lead on all graphic design/art direction for our social media campaigns. In addition, this position requires that the creative also be embedded into our social platforms – mainly Facebook apps.




Responsibilities:


Graphic Design + Technical Leader: This unique position requires a creative background with a social specialty. You will create engaging and exciting graphics for Facebook timelines, avatars, special tabs for our many clients around the country. Most will highlight special promotions and sweepstakes as well as custom programs. You will also need to work with platforms such as Shortstack to be able to embed custom tabs. You’ll need to know Photoshop and have a working knowledge of building CSS code and Javascript. This position will also create companion digital banners for our social programs in standard sizes.


Major Collaborator: with a side of entrepreneurial spirit. This is a new position at the agency and we’ll need your feedback and expertise. This role will be an active role on the social team and collaborate with the project manager, the community director and manager. You will also be working closely with the agency creative department to ensure all of our work is in line with the brand.


Bring it On: Participates in new business research and presentations.





Requirements:


-Be a self-starter, taking initiative, anticipating needs, and getting stuff done.

-Have a positive, can-do attitude, not complaining or making excuses.

-Possess excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and overall communication skills (both oral and written).

-Be highly organized and detail-oriented.

-Have at least 4 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.

-Have at least 4 years advertising agency experience.

-Have experience working on social campaigns and the back-end technology with apps on Facebook. We will need to see a portfolio of your work.

-Know Photoshop, social platforms such as Wildfire or Shortstack, CSS coding and Javascript.

-Be able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities, without becoming frustrated or irritable. Work with both the creative team and the social team.

-Have a Bachelors degree.

-Automotive experience is a huge plus!

-Have a list of three referrals from recent employers.
