Job Description

Project/Program Coordinators assist and manage programs from start to completion. The Project/Program Coordinator is responsible for working with the team (strategy, creative, implementation and new business) to ensure that work is delivered on strategy and on time. The Project/Program Coordinator plays a role in helping to develop and shape programs, build long-term client relationships and work to understand the “big picture” in branding. Working with the project/program lead, the Project/Program Coordinator helps to ensure team members know what they need to do, when and how.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

—Work with leads to create and manage projects, on time and on budget
—Assist leads in creating and delivering all client deliverables
—Coordinate small projects or elements of larger projects
—Document and communicate project status and requirements
—Review/proofread documents
—Assist in writing case studies and project “best practice” summaries
—Think through business/branding issues and identify problems
—Support new business development/pitch documents and work with leads to develop new scopes of work
—Look for new business within existing or potential opportunities

Qualifications
—Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum requirement
—1-2 years experience in program management or related client service role (marketing, communications, design, advertising, etc.)
—Strong sense of responsibility and commitment, and ability to work under stress while remaining calm
—Pro-active, enthusiastic, joyful and diplomatic
—Strong organization skills, multi-tasker, and client relationship coordinator/builder
—Strong written and verbal communication skills
—Strong interpersonal skills, with "cheerfulness and pleasantness" a must
—Highly detail oriented
—Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel. FastTrack or MS Project a plus (knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is not required, but a plus)
—Proficient in social/digital (MailChimp; LinkedIn; Twitter; repurposing Ideon’s content (knowledge of WordPress is not required, but a plus)
