National Journal, a must-read destination for Washington insiders, seeks a Hotline Editor-in-Chief with a passion for politics, sharp writing skills, excellent news judgment, and a new media mindset.The Editor-in-Chief will be responsible for setting the editorial tone for the Hotline, Washington’s essential publication for political junkies. The Editor-in-Chief will be expected to craft daily political analyses, edit and manage a team of reporters and contribute to National Journal’s political coverage. We're looking for someone with an in-depth knowledge of campaigns and elections and the ability to understand big-picture political trends and developments. A successful candidate will demonstrate solid news judgment, develop relationships with political consultants and strategists, and have an understanding of 21st century media.Responsibilities Include:
