USA TODAY – Advertising Sales Coordinator

USA TODAY is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual who will to support USA TODAY’s Sales team. As an Advertising Sales Coordinator you will coordinate and manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and accounts while exhibiting excellent client relations skills and showing a thorough understanding of USA TODAY’s media sales process.This role is based in New York.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Provide leads and new business prospecting to Sales Reps through research tools and personal initiative.
Facilitate the completion of RFP’s and rate requests across the Print and Digital Platforms of USA TODAY while primarily collaborating with Sales Reps and Project Manager.
Coordinate across multiple touch points with internal and external contacts to ensure all clients’ needs are being met.
Create and manage reports for Weekly Team Revenue - Revenue Tracker, Pipeline, RFP’s, etc.
Prepares rate requests, IO creation and acquisition, facilitate the print creative submission through ad ops as well as serves as primary contact for all accounts and agencies specific to campaign management.
Organize travel arrangements for Sales Reps
Organize client events and social outings.
Works with other coordinators to ensure needs of entire Ad Sales group is being met.
Maintains day to day operations of office (i.e. supplies, filing and organizing)


Minimum 1+ years experience in sales or sales support in a coordinator or assistant capacity (internship is acceptable)
Advanced skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Bachelor degree required in Advertising or related field
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while having an all-encompassing understanding of the media sales process
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Passion for sales with a driven and ambitious mindset
