Senior Media Planner
The Role: An early leader in the connected TV space, Roku now boasts significant distribution, an extremely active user base, rich content choices, and sophisticated, interactive promotional capabilities.This position will play a key role in driving content partner success on Roku. A background in tune-in / program promotion is required. Must be analytical. Must be familiar with broadband video and advertising technologies. Ideal candidate has been exposed to content acquisition (or sales), and has spent much of their career marketing content to consumers.Responsibilities: •Researches, develops, and plans media primarily on device, but could include other promotional vehicles as well. •Maintain media calendars and manage plan details in Salesforce.com •Help manage creative request process when needed. •Campaign management and reporting as required •Gathers, organizes and presents competitive research and spending data. •Collaborate with research in development of winning case studies •Work against aggressive partnership and revenue goals •Help manage strategic relationships with vendors and partners •Provide input to product and engineering teams on next-gen features Experience/Qualifications: •4-8 years’ experience in media planning •Experience with both display & broadband technologies specifically with strong usage skills in planning tools such as: ?Salesforce.com ?DFP, OAS 24/7, Liverail, Freewheel, YuMe, etc. ?Omniture (Site Catalyst), Google Analytics, WebTrends, Kantar, etc. •Excellent writing and presentation skills •Analytical, process-oriented personality; good with a spreadsheet •Experience in product design or planning desired. •Located in New York CityPlease apply at the link.
