The Senior Desktop Software Engineer will help design and develop the 3D printing and scanning products that are changing the way people work and create. Our team works in a wide variety of areas -- UI, algorithms, services, device drivers, and robotics -- on a variety of platforms including OS X, Windows, Linux, and others. Our software engineers are constantly working on brand new problems and are picking up new skills all the time. As MakerBot Senior Desktop Engineer, you will:

Develop consumer desktop applications that manipulate 3D models.
Create software for 3D printing and scanning products across multiple platforms
Design programs that connect to devices over USB and Ethernet.
Interact with teams across multiple engineering disciplines for the development of software requirements that drive the rest of our efforts.

To be considered for the MakerBot Senior Makerbot Desktop Engineer position, you need:

Professional C, C++, or Python experience. (General experience with object-oriented analysis / design / programming outside of these languages will also be considered.)
Experience developing for a variety of platforms, including Windows, OS X, and Linux.
Degree in Computer Science or comparable
