The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) seeks a Marketing Project Manager to support the media planning initiatives within the Office of Publishing & Member Services. The incumbent will be responsible for media planning, and execution on a wide range of campaigns to support the branding, membership acquisition, and member retention goals of the organization.

Major duties and responsibilities:

•Collaborates with internal marketing and creative teams to address the staging and sequencing of campaigns
•Schedules campaigns and places all insertion orders for internal and external marketing vehicles
•Tracks the efficacy of campaigns through a variety of analytical tools including email reporting, Google Analytics, surveys, etc.
•Makes recommendations for campaign modifications and replacements

Minimum qualifications:

•Extensive university or college-level training leading to a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
•Five to seven years of experience in a marketing role
•Outstanding organizational skills
•Strong understanding of business and creative processes and desired outcomes
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Knowledge of contemporary software packages including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as, Google Analytics
•Experience working in a fast paced, non-profit environment is preferred
