InvestmentNews is seeking a full-time Creative Marketing Specialist in its New York office. This person will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and work with internal teams to support the development of print and digital communication tools and sales collateral for the publication and its clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create print/digital/HTML email collateral to promote marketing, audience development, sales and editorial initiatives, through use of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create print/digital/HTML email collateral to support custom content proposals and projects, and webcasts, through use of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Design sell sheets, customized proposals, sales presentations and templates.
• Support marketing, sales, custom content and digital data departments in the maintenance of media kit.
• Assist with the development and communication of marketing and sales plans, creative briefs, promotion/sponsor recaps, and sales presentations.
• Incorporate circulation, marketing, research, and competitive industry intelligence into supporting marketing strategy and sales efforts.
• Assist marketing team with writing and editing of promotional collateral, newsletters, direct marketing, social media and online content.
• Works productively and collaborates with other marketing team members.
• Support planning and execution of promotional and sponsorship activities for InvestmentNews events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Ideal candidate must have:
• Bachelor degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism/Graphic Design or aligned field.
• Two to four years of professional design and marketing experience, preferably within the media/publishing field.
• High-comfort level with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver).
• Ability to tailor graphic style to best engage target audience/achieve goal.
• Excellent writing, editing, proof-reading and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Creative problem solving skills, to think on his/her feet and offer solutions when faced with challenges.
• Ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure and thrive in a very fast-paced working environment.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office.
