People StyleWatch seeks a proactive, results-driven editor to oversee its profiles on various social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Tumblr) and manage its audience engagement and growth. The ideal candidate will have a fashion or beauty editorial background and at least two years of professional experience with branded social media accounts. S/he must be current with the quickly evolving online universe and have a passion for celebrity, entertainment and continuing to grow the StyleWatch brand. This person should know how to interpret audience trends to swiftly develop new, engaging content.

Write posts for StyleWatch's Twitter and Facebook feeds
Manage and write posts for Tumblr, Instagram and Pinterest
Coordinate with print and digital teams to manage overall social media programming
Work with sales marketing on sponsored and partner social posts
Coordinate and help execute social media events, such as Twitter chats and Google Hangouts
Work with PR on monthly cover outreach and liaise with celebrity publicists for promotion on their social handles
Closely monitor traffic and engagement metrics to immediately spot and react to trends in audience, advising the team on best programming decisions throughout day
* Train and guide other StyleWatch staffers on social media skills and best practices
* Create new ideas and innovative social programs that engage readers and reach new audience
Respond to comments and suggestions from users

2+ years experience writing fashion, celebrity and/or beauty features and news, editorial or branded content, including overseeing a social media stream for a major media, fashion or celebrity brand
*Proven and demonstrable track record for increasing followers, engagement and traffic
Well-versed in programming and steering social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and Instagram and social shopping
Familiar with live, real time traffic tools such as Chart Beat, Virtual Revenue or Social Flow
Experience with blogging tools
Has contacts with industry leaders at the major social platforms
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with both editorial and sales/marketing teams
Ability to be a leader while contributing to a team environment
