Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day office duties and administrative responsibilities:
•coordinate meetings
•manage calendar appointments (schedule, confirm, follow up)
•update contacts
•roll calls (maintain call sheet, take messages, and move calls forward)
•coordinate travel

Assist Senior Executive in executing the following in Public Relations/Management for clients:
•draft press materials including: tip sheets, bios, press releases, photo credits
•clip client press hits with Photoshop and send to client first thing each morning
•create & maintain media pitch grids
•write call & meeting agendas and recaps (internally & for the client)
•pitch media & media follow-up
•create press recap decks in Powerpoint
•communicating with the client via email, bi-weekly conference calls & meetings
•creating and maintaining a press status report (for team meetings & for the client)
•prepare & manage product mailings
•staff client events during or after hours
•coordinate social media posts

Assist Senior Executive in coordinating and executing events for clients:
•maintaining rsvp & press lists
•drafting press materials
•staffing guest & media check in
•escorting press through events
•booking photographer & crews
•pitching & following up with media to attend & cover events.

Participate in Professional Development opportunities:
•network with PR professionals and media
•attend networking industry events
•share reports on media news, digital advances, and publications (trade & consumer)
•contribute innovative & creative ideas to company brainstorms

Skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Powerpoint
•Thorough with Internet Research
•Knowledgeable about social media
•Exhibits strong Writing & Oral Communication Skills
