Your tasks
The Digital Publishing Group seeks a Jr. Finance Analyst to work specifically within the Audio/Travel/Diversified finance team, reporting to the Associate Director, Business Operations. The primary focus of this position will be on the Audio business. This group publishes approximately 600+ titles per year across multiple formats and genres (adult/children_s fiction, history, business, health and wellness, etc.). The Jr. Analyst may also be called upon to assist with other businesses within the larger division, such as Fodor_s Travel and the PRH Speaker_s Bureau.

The Jr. Analyst will provide support to the division, primarily supporting the financial aspects of audio production. The ideal candidate will handle the following responsibilities:
_Work with audio producing teams at our two Manhattan locations and at our LA studios to process all recording production invoices
_Work with Accounts Payable department to create and approve all purchase orders and invoices
_Help to improve and manage financial processes, such as billing and collection, for author platform businesses within the division, such as the PRH Speaker_s Bureau
_Manage monthly billings for growing Fodors.com business
_Assist with other business financial processes, as needed

Our requirements
College degree required, preferably with up to 3 years of relevant experience. Ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, an interest in finance and accounting operations, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines will be essential. Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Excel and willingness to learn internal systems (SAP, FMP, Hyperion, etc.) also required. Interest in books and the publishing industry preferred.
