Basic Function: Support the Digital Media team in community management and PR outreach for accessories, fashion, jewelry clients and lifestyle accounts.

Essential duties:

• Supporting the internal teams on day to day matters in the online space
• Manage the social media communities of clients and agency channels with daily content creation and responses to relevant interactions
• Create weekly engagement report for review detailing the social channels performance and proactively recommend ways to optimize
• Work with Director to develop and implement innovative digital press strategies for our clients
• Execute and monitor all special projects pertaining to the online space
• Proactively pitch story ideas & secure brand coverage (online)
• Coordinate material necessary for all stories (online)
• Create and distribute email blasts to promote new products, special events, etc.
• Copy writing, Photoshop, content calendar and activation plan creation and execution, community management reporting
• Contribute all pro-active measures to client monthly reports
• Compile and maintain online target media lists
• Oversee intern program within the department, assigning projects and delegating responsibilities
• Research digital media, platforms, conferences, webinars and related industry news to keep the team abreast of notable information and propose client opportunities
• Work with Account Manager(s), Director(s) and VP in client events pertaining to the online media world
• Keep the team updated on social media and online news including platform updates, new outlets and apps, bloggers, events, conferences and activations

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years experience in PR/ Social Media
• Proficient social media copywriting
• Previous experience in community management
• Inherent interest in Fashion and social media
• Strong organizational skills
• Well versed in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Apple computers, Cision and Keynote.
• Knowledge of social media listening tools and analytics including Google and Facebook analytics
• Candidate must be able to work with minimal direction and comfortable taking initiative
