Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network (HITN) is seeking the top network executive who will be responsible for strategic, operational and revenue generation focused leadership for HITN’s National Cable Network headquartered in Brooklyn, New York with offices in Washington, DC and Puerto Rico. Oversee business, technical and creative issues surrounding the production, programming and operations standards of the broadcast systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Direct and manage all aspects of the Network operations to achieve prominent market share and goals by leading a team of Production, Programming, Affiliate/Membership/Partnerships, Digital Asset Management, Marketing, Engineering and Broadcast Operations professionals.

* Set high standards for Network identity, continuity and overall on-air image.

* Manage development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans; direct revenue forecasting activities and revenue-generating goals to meet specific Company goals.

* Manage and oversee integrity of content and Network’s on-air broadcasts.

* Ability to integrate new technology into operation and changes in media delivery, including appropriate content development for multiple delivery platforms.

* Formulate budgets, expenditures, marketing programs and appropriations for total Network operations.

* Manage market analysis and development to identify new revenue and content opportunities to meet the Company’s planned objectives for growth and financial success.

* Lead the management and development of a competent staff that encourages both team and individual capabilities while promoting an environment that supports the management philosophy, strategic direction and procedures of the organization. Provide clear structure and managerial oversight.

* Manage the performance evaluation process for employees, budget preparations and presentation of such plans to senior management and the BOD.

* Maintain current and build new relationships with Hispanic community leaders and organizations in New York, DC and Puerto Rico and extended viewing areas.


Qualifications/Requirements Qualifications:

* Minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

* Minimum of 10 years of experience in cable, television broadcast management/leadership capacity.

* Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.

* Must be willing to work in our New York City and travel to the DC and Puerto Rico locations.

* Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and attend events as HITN's Network representative.


Eligibility Requirements:

* Must be willing to submit to a background investigation including a credit check.

* Must be 18 years or greater.

* Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

* Must be available to work all shifts, including early mornings, evenings, holidays, weekends, and late breaking emergencies.

* Must be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
