Support in maintaining the online database and marketing efforts and provide analysis to inform and guide ecommerce marketing efforts. Become the Teacher Store expert in measuring, analyzing, and reporting promotional response rates by various metrics and variables.


The tasks associated with undertaking the position of Analyst, Ecommerce Marketing include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

•Developing statistical reports
•Provide extensive analysis to inform and guide channel marketing efforts
•Channels include direct mail, catalogs, e-mail, telemarketing, advertising, field campaigns, website, and special offers
•Become the SCCG expert in measuring, analyzing, and reporting promotional response rates by division and product and on a campaign basis
•Provides competitive pricing research and makes recommendations
•Works with creative on enhancing ecommerce offerings

Required Qualifications:

•3 + years of related experience in Business to Business pricing in an ecommerce environment
•Outstanding analytical skills with ability to report on what’s working and what’s not working and give recommendations
•Advanced proficiency in Excel pivot tables, Power Pivot and all Office applications
•Must be very proficient in cleansing data, data mining, competitive pricing research skills and report writing
• Familiarity with Web Analytics tools (i.e. Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics)

Desired Qualifications
•Knowledge of Database analytic tools such as: Web sphere Commerce 7, YesMail, ProClarity, Business Intelligence (BI), UNICA, Business Objects,AS400,Experian, Harte Hanks, Cognos Impromptu, Cognos Power Play, Coremetrics, SAS, SPSS or STS Legacy System, STS Open Market Works Oracle Based strongly preferred
•Prior Publishing experience preferred
•Knowledge of or willingness to learn CRM, SEO, and publishing business
