SFN is seeking a junior Multimedia/Writer to support our Media Relations & Member Communications (MMC) department. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the department's management of internal and external multimedia projects by helping to prioritize multimedia projects and ensuring adherence to organizational brand, voice and standards. In addition, the Coordinator will assist with writing and editing member-facing communications through project development, messaging, storyboarding, production, and editing.

The Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the video and digital photo libraries and coordinating multimedia content for use in various member communications. This role is ideal for someone who exhibits strong time and project-management skills, exemplary attention to detail and customer service, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and to coordinate multiple projects. A successful candidate will be an engaged and involved team member who can work independently as needed, be attentive to detail, demonstrate a positive attitude, take initiative, and understand the importance of meeting deadlines.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience and a college degree in Communications or Multimedia related field. This individual should have the ability to coordinate production of high-quality online videos from start to finish, and excellent writing and detailed editing skills. A sound understanding and experience with digital photos and cameras, and common online video formats and platforms is required, as is knowledge of basic elements of composition such as framing, light, color, and depth of field. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of multimedia for online publications and experience with CMS systems.
