Ideal candidates will have familiarity with the ways in which print content can be built out to appear online and in social media environments, including familiarity with creating audio and video companion content. Because so many Archaeology stories draw not just on the discipline of archaeology, but also on the other sciences as foundational reporting, candidates with science journalism experience, and those with experience in covering archaeology for general audiences, will be given preference.
