Manager Advertising & Promotions
Job Description:Project-manage all promotional and advertising materials for selected Adult and Children’s imprints working closely with marketing managers, online marketing managers, and publishers. Candidate will help conceive, schedule, write (when necessary), and oversee projects for these imprints. This position is responsible for completing over 1,200 projects a year including custom landing page sites, online, print, radio, and TV ads, social networking tools, sell pieces, event kits, posters, point-of-purchase items, and corrugated displays. This person also is responsible for the scheduling, creative direction, and budgeting of these materials for four imprints across two divisions of the company. Job also includes attendance at imprint launch, marketing and creative meetings as well as weekly Ad/Promo meetings and individual follow-ups with marketing mangers. Required Qualifications:3-4 years publishing experience a must. A strong knowledge of MAC operating systems and organizational skills is a must. Experience in children's publishing a plus. Candidate must possess strong communication skills, both written and oral, be detail oriented and able to function under tight deadlines. Must be able to prioritize. Excellent interpersonal skills are also imperative since the promotion manager will be working with several departments and imprints. Some knowledge of printing processes a plus.
