Job Description:
This position in responsible for producing and managing a portfolio of successful international conferences and training products geared towards senior compliance executives. This position reports directly to the Head of Conferences and is responsible for content development with a heavy emphasis on topic research and copywriting. This position requires excellent project management skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with and relate to all levels both within and outside the organization.

• Acts as product manager on all events in individual’s portfolio, overseeing both execution and strategic direction.
• Develops and presents product briefings to internal sales, marketing and customer service teams.
• Conducts telephone and in-person research to spot market trends and translates that information into detailed written event agendas.
• Identifies, invites and confirms executive-level speakers for conferences, live seminars and webinars.
• Works with speakers to help guide the content of their presentations.
• Assist marketing department in creating promotional materials for each event.
• Reviews and approves all promotional copy and on-site materials created to support each event.
• Manages on-site event execution, ensuring sessions run on time and providing speaker support in a professional, service-oriented manner.
• Conducts ongoing research to further industry knowledge and develop potential new events.
• Establishes and maintains strategic relationships with industry thought-leaders, associations, vendors and media.
• Manages speaker expense budgets.
• Facilitates clear, consistent communication within cross-functional project teams.
• Represents company at key educational and networking gatherings.

Employment Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
• 3+ years of event production experience, preferably with large scale events.
• Superior market research and writing skills.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on behalf of the company (10-20% travel).
• Journalism or market research background is a plus.
