We are looking for a LAMP stack (human Swiss-army knife) developer to join our tight-knit team. We run a custom CMS and are constantly iterating to improve our products. We are a small shop and everyone is expected to contribute creatively to our products so you won’t just be a code monkey. This position will report directly to our CTO and have a real ability to shape the future of our brand while working on innovative projects that are disrupting the event industry.

Responsibilities- Assist in the development of new for the database and application layers.
- Write DRY-principled, fully object-oriented PHP, incorporating several caching strategies
- Flourish in a scrum environment.
- Follow our coding conventions, quickly absorb our application design strategy.

Requirements- Assist in development of new for the database and application layers.
- 5+ years of software development experience in PHP
- Demonstrable mastery of both object-oriented and procedural PHP.
- Demonstrable master of Jquery, understanding of the underlying Javascript API.
- Demonstrable familiarity with MySQL and normalized relational database schema organization
- Demonstrable knowledge of the standard open source technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX , Git, Linux
- Experience in common third-party APIs (google, facebook, ebay etc)
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

Added-Bonuses - Familiarity with Zurb Foundation responsive design framework.
- Deep understanding of CSS 3 including canvas and transforms
- Bash scripting experience
