Blue State Digital, a digital advertising firm, is looking for a Digital Media Planner to join our Paid Media team. As a Media Planner, you will serve as an expert in the field of media for a host of BSD clients – ranging from non-profits to major brands, and everything in-between. Job Requirements

•Serve as a media expert for a variety of assigned clients.
•Coordinate across the Strategy and Media teams to insure cohesive development of media campaigns.
•Develop comprehensive media plans using audience insight, historical data, and past experience.
•Work with Analytics team to monitor, analyze and report on campaign results and make regular recommendation on how to optimize campaign performance.
•Lead client-facing interactions such as regular calls, meetings, and presentations.
•Have involvement in business development for the company, including new business pitches, presentations, and client upsell.
•Ensure a good working relationship with account and client teams to facilitate flawless execution of plans.
•Remain abreast of the overall media marketplace, and what opportunities are relevant to Clients.


•3+ years online media planning experience required.
•BA/BS required.
•Experience analyzing data, market research, and developing audience profiles using tools such as Comscore, Nielsen, etc.
•Experience in running fundraising, direct response, or other non-profit/advocacy related initiatives.
•Ability to understand client goals and how they translate into media strategy.
•Proficiency with Apple products.
•Experience using 3rd party ad serving technologies (preferably DART, or DG Mediamind).
•Strong negotiation skills, well organized, excellent with numbers, and extremely detail oriented.
•Masterful understanding of digital platforms including search engines, social media, mobile, and online publications.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation skills.
