Core Responsibilities

•Manage content of multiple websites

•Utilize Google analytics tools to track overall site traffic and use information to develop content strategies.

•Research emerging web trends and user demographics

•Manage of multiple freelance editors and bloggers

•Write and edit online content

•Assist in developing new digital projects

Essential Qualifications

•Focused, results-oriented and superior time management skills

•Candidate must be organized, self-motivated, comfortable working with minimal oversight, and possess the ability to work on and meet multiple ever-changing deadline schedules.

•Experience in writing and editing using AP Style with select in-house rules to produce content for multiple websites on a daily basis.

•Familiarity with content marketing

•Proven experience using content management systems, including Joomla and Wordpress, for editing and posting online content.

•Must have proven experience in Search Engine Optimization including working with title tags, keywords, keyword weight and meta descriptions to maximize online exposure and ability to keep pace with the latest SEO trends and emerging strategies.

•Working knowledge of web site architecture, Basic HTML and Basic Image Editing is critical.

• Must possess ability to use Google analytics tools

•Intimate working knowledge of social networking including Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus, and the ability to drive audience growth in current and emerging social media.

•Bachelor’s in Journalism strongly preferred
