Mr. Wayne Greene
Contractors will be required to research, write and produce original stories for broadcast as well as adapt other VOA copy in Learning English style -- a clear and succinct form of writing that uses a 1,500 word vocabulary, so English learners can easily understand news and other information about America and the world.

Contractors also will post stories on our website and create dynamic, interactive lessons to help non-native English speakers learn the language through VOA content. Contractors will participate in special projects, including the creation and production of short English teaching videos, and connect with VOA audiences via Skype and Google Hangouts, and on social media.

Work will be performed at VOA headquarters at 330 Independence Avenue, S.W., Washington, D.C., which is conveniently located near the Federal Center SW Metro station.
