The successful Digital Product Designer will create and drive a consistent online/mobile visual presence across a variety of ALM digital media publications.

Responsibilities include:
•Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user centered design process.
•Produce and revise wireframes, design prototypes, design mocks, and graphical elements within existing design guidelines and requirements.
•Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Editorial and Development teams to refine the user experience for various ALM websites and newsletters on multiple platforms.
•Work with web developers to deliver innovative front-end solutions

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Digital Media Design or other visual arts. 3+ years’ experience as a key member of a Graphics or User Interface team participating in the complete product development lifecycle of several successfully launched web and/or software applications
•Must have a solid understanding of design principles, screen layouts, and typography, and a great eye for detail. Able to develop new approaches to complex design problems and can convey ideas into tangible form.
•Must be able to collaborate effectively with others in a cross-functional team, as well as work independently.
•Must be able to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
•Must be fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar graphics / user interface software.
•A solid understanding of cross –platform compatibility and hand-coding experience with current web technologies (HTML, Javascript, CSS). Flash experience is a plus but not required.
•Experience with information architecture, SEO and metrics, content management systems a plus.
•Experience with bug reporting tools such as; Jira
•Initiative, team oriented, self-motivated
•Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, C++, XML, .Net, SQL Scripting etc.) and backend systems (Ad Servers, Video).
