Business Development Manager (Marketing)
An opening is available for an experienced Business Development Manager to partner with attorneys in the Government Division to drive and execute the Division’s marketing and business development strategy and planning. This position is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. headquarters, with close collaboration with staff and attorneys across the firm. As an integral member of the firm's business development strategy team, the Business Development Manager will work closely with attorneys in the Government Division to develop and implement marketing programs for practice and industry groups; drive business development efforts, including RFP responses, client pitches and presentations; and ensure the firm's marketing materials are aligned with strategic goals. This position supports the efforts of the firm's top-ranked government-related practices, including Advertising Law, Communications, Environment, Financial Services, Food & Drug, Government Contracts, International Trade, Legislative & Government Affairs, Nonprofit, and Privacy and Data Security, among others. Candidates must have an excellent understanding of the business development process in a professional services environment; superior written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills; a minimum of three years marketing management experience; and a minimum of two years supervisory experience.
