Prose Media ( is a fast-growing content writing service for businesses, helping to usher in the future of branded journalism. We are looking for a dynamic account coordinator to join our startup agency and assist us in supporting a growing list of clients.

Desired commitment is 20 hours per week. Please note that our staff currently operates out of a home office on Bleecker Street (near NYU). Pay is hourly and may increase over time.

Responsibilities may include some of the following:

-Call potential leads (pre-vetted) to sell our service
-Interact and negotiate with potential and current clients
-Help craft well-written project proposals
-Edit and proofread materials
-Assign new projects to suitable writers in our network
-Facilitate key milestones in the editorial process; ensure deadlines are met
-Maintain diligent records in Salesforce, following step-by-step processes
-Invoice clients and track payments


-Strong oral communication skills; ability to liaise with clients
-Excellent writing and editing skills
-Highly proactive work ethic
-Meticulous attention to detail
-Deep intellectual curiosity
