The New Republic seeks a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and proactive individual to manage all digital advertising operations in its New York office. This person should have previous experience with advertising operations, be proficient with Excel, and be a strong communicator.

Responsibilities include:
Ad Operations
- Create and manage campaigns in our ad server, Google's DFP (Small Business)
- Forecast and estimate inventory for incoming RFPs and responses
- Place ad buys into DFP and ensure smooth execution
- Analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization
- Anticipate and identify issues with campaign delivery, performance, and creative
- Proactively report status of ad campaigns internally and to clients
- Work closely with product team to ensure product and technology is always ready for ad flights
Help manage our (mostly automatic) programming campaigns
Assist Integrated Marketing Managers in creating sales presentations, contribute to sales and marketing teams with creative ideas for advertisers, and support the sales and marketing teams where needed

Technical Requirements
- Minimum 1-year trafficking experience. RTB/Programmatic buying experience a plus
- Deep knowledge of Excel and Pivot Tables
- Passion for online advertising and exposure to online ad serving concepts (CPM/CPA/RTB/ROI), video, mobile, social a plus

- Bachelor's degree required
