Mr. Troy Vázquez-Cain
Full Time
We are an integrated communications, strategic marketing, and public relations firm with a wide variety of clients in the design industry. Our work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced and deadline-driven.

We are seeking a smart, resourceful, and responsible Public Relations Specialist to work with our growing firm on a full-time basis.

As our Public Relations Specialist, you must have a strong knowledge of public relations tools and solid research, writing and editing skills. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record with garnering print, online and broadcast coverage for clients.

You will also, at a minimum, hold a bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of professional experience working with journalists and nationally recognized media outlets. An interest in architecture and design is preferred but not required.

If you’re the right candidate for this position, you’ll present yourself to clients and the media in a courteous, professional manner. You will be organized, put-together and will perform your duties with a team-oriented attitude. Deadlines and day-to-day pressure will inspire rather than overwhelm you, and you’ll excel in a results-driven agency environment.

Responsibilities: As Public Relations Specialist, you will:

•Develop and/or oversee the development of press materials -- press releases, fact sheets, project descriptions, pitches to the press, press kit materials, press lists, etc.
•Write and/or ghostwrite articles, white papers and similar materials for clients
•Strategize, launch and manage social media campaigns
•Manage requests for information from the media
•Create, edit and distribute press activity reports
•Assist with the coordination of special events

Are you the team member we’re searching for? If so, please send us your CV, cover letter, a few samples of your writing and press clippings of coverage you’ve garnered for past clients to the e-mail address above. We look forward to hearing from you!

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION. Only serious, qualified candidates should apply.
