Summary:

A consumer branding firm that focuses on investments in the consumer brand sectors of beverage, food and leisure/lifestyle sectors seeks a Brand Manager. This is a young, growing firm, and the role will entail a broad scope of responsibilities and require flexible hours.

The Brand Manager’s main responsibility will be to design and execute strategic public relations and internal communications plans that will support and reflect the firm’s vision, accomplishments, and overall business goals.

This is a high visibility role and offers room for strategic leadership and creativity.

Responsibilities:

•Work with senior partners to create, lead and drive a sustainable brand development process that will build over time and will deepen relationships with the firm’s investors

•Plan and execute strategic public relations/communications campaigns that will generate excitement among investors around new products/trends

•Develop and oversee events (including venue, timeline and budget) that reflect the brand identity of the firm and will establish a foundation of goodwill among key influencers

•Identify and actively seek out new opportunities to promote and position the accomplishments/ successes of the firm

•Establish and cultivate relationships with influential media and other individuals to build recognition

•Create an authentic voice by managing day-to-day social media, website projects and other online content

Qualifications:

•1-2 years of experience in brand development, public relations, investor relations, communications, marketing, or a related field
•Experience in building out successful brand identities; experience managing the brand identity of a small private equity or venture capital fund a plus
•Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a sense of humor
•Strong organization, prioritization and project management skills
•Experience with managing digital elements of a brand (including social media, email management, online advocacy)
•A passion for new products and trends in the food, beverage and lifestyle industry is a plus
