General Summary
The purpose of this position is to participate in the planning
And execution of the visual component of marketing efforts
and promote and strengthen the whole foods market brand and
sub-brands in adherence to the whole foods market style guide all
while managing deadlines and priorities.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and Art Direct other designers
• Project Manage deadlines and moving priorities
• Keep up with content changes and rounds for all projects
• Understand timeline processes and come up with solutions when appropriate
• Store Opening Support
• Builds and maintains Whole Foods Market brands in adherence to the brand parameters
• Coordinates and art directs the development and execution of graphic collateral.
• Assists Associate Creative Coordinator in planning and developing long- and short-term goals
aimed at increasing operational efficiency and service to Design Center clients
• Plans, schedules and executes Design Center job requests in a timely manner
• Disseminates and assists in implementation of Central Marketing programs
• Works with Regional Marketing Project Manager to manage the in-house production
services. Includes managing workflow schedule, freelance, materials procurement, and
printing maintenance contracts.
• Other tasks to support the region as requested

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
• Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and at least 4 years of
experience in graphic design.
• Ability to effectively present concepts and designs to clients and leadership
• Outstanding writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation and proofreading skills
• Advanced interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work with clients one-on-one
• Expert level skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and in Apple Operating
System. Powerpoint skills, photography and flash animation a plus.
• Knowledge of the printing process and experience with preparing files for the printing
press and the ability to prepare cost effective designs
• Ability to illustrate
• Superior organization & time management
• Ability to multi-task & meet deadlines
• Great virtual & verbal communication skills (including group presentations)
• Light travel: 10 -- 15%
