AOL.com and the Lifestyle team is currently searching for a summer intern to contribute to the team that caters to all things new, sports, fashion, beauty, food, and inspiration. The perfect candidate will help craft a pixel perfect experience for our audience through captivating imagery sourced from around the globe. We’re looking for a self-starter who will hit the ground running on day one and actively contribute to a brand that caters to 8.7 million viewers daily.

Responsibilities may include:
-Envision, produce, and execute photo shoots relevant to the content being aired on AOL.com and the various Life Brand properties
-Enforce photo standards with specific emphasis to the AOL.com portal
-Contribute both visually and editorially to social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
-News monitoring and working closely with a team of editors to ensure current events and relative topics are being covered with a sense of immediacy in an honest voice that both informs and captivates the audience

What we’re looking for:
-College junior, senior, or recent graduate with an eye for all things visual who is heavily invested in the online and social media worlds
-Pursuing studies in photography and/or journalism
-Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, and other related image editing software
-Proficient knowledge of DSLR camera systems and experience with studio lighting preferred
-Active presence on all relevant social media platforms
-A team player who is also able to take the reigns and execute individually
-A creative thinker who is able to troubleshoot and pose solutions rather than point out problems
