The Audience Development Marketing Coordinator is part of the team that aggressively grows the FierceMarkets’s Business-to-Business email newsletter subscriber base. This role manages and contributes to cultivating external sources for subscriber growth like business development relationships, vendor relationships, pay-per-click campaigns, and social media marketing. The role also serves as a point person for internal database and subscriber analysis and maximizing circulation growth from our house lists. Successful candidates will be data nerds, eager to grow their marketing skills, possess an analytical mindset, and have a positive, can-do attitude.

•Build and analyze circulation marketing reports
•Monitor and analyze trends in subscriber growth and attrition
•Key point of contact for subscriber database reporting for management and sales
•Create subscriber growth initiatives for FierceMarkets’s email newsletters including email creative and landing pages.
•Develop email creative for external partnerships
•Execute media partnerships
•Improve subscriber demographics data coverage
•Manage and optimize marketing automation for internal email campaigns
•Conduct quality assurance on subscribers from external sources
•Coordinate pay-per-click and social media marketing campaigns
•Build, execute, analyze, and share findings of reader surveys
•Analyze effect of amount of email sent on activity level and attrition
•Assist in tradeshow exhibition management
•Research and analyze best practices and competitor practices and share with Audience Development, Marketing Solutions (ad operations), and Editorial teams
•Alongside Audience Development, Marketing Solutions, and IT teams, suggest and execute A/B and multivariate testing for email campaigns and landing pages
•Collaborate with Audience Development on lifecycle engagement strategy and marketing automation, including onboarding, drip, reactivation, and list hygiene.
•Take on additional projects as assigned, to assist the Audience Development, Marketing Solutions, Editorial, or Sales teams on an as-needed basis


We’re looking for someone who is able to adapt to a variety of demands and has a desire to hone existing skills as well as develop new skillsets as needs arise.

•0-3 years’ experience in Internet/email marketing
•Strong background in analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Good copywriting skills
•Basic proficiency in HTML with desire to learn more
•Ability to navigate multiple levels of stakeholders on projects
•Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
•Experience with an email service provider is a plus
•Positive attitude. Fierce work ethic
